Why I sign my emails the way I do
You may have noticed that I finish my emails with these words. They're more than a friendly sign-off.
grace
God giving us what we could never earn or deserve.
Christianity does not begin with us becoming good enough for God. It begins with God giving.
peace
More than feeling calm.
The Bible speaks of peace with God: a broken relationship with our Creator being made right.
Grace is the gift.
Peace is what that grace makes possible.
And both are found in Jesus Christ.
But why do we need grace in the first place?
That question gets to the heart of Christianity.
